If You entered this competition, use the following months to complete as many tasks as possible! Plan your route, start the app at a time that is convenient. Click the Start button, and go for the first task! If you have finished your race planned for the day, indicate it with the Stop button. The Rover-tracking app only collects data during the races, like any other tracking app.
If you finish your runs for the day, just press the STOP button in the App. During your individual runs, the app continuously sends your data to the Rover-tracking system, as an official event logger. Complete the tasks according to the competiton notice, and mark the targets with your digital flags.
Rover-tracking's server performs automatic scoring continously all day and night. A few seconds after flacing your flag, you can already see the updated results on the website!
Digital world and real obstacles.....
Rover-tracking opens a new chapter in the world of offroad competitons!
The ROVER-tracking Trophy spans a long period, it is a competiton that lasts several months. What makes this event unique, is that the competitors organize the tours independently.
During their individual races, they complete the tasks of the competiton, when, and how they will. Meanwhile, the Rover-tracking application continuously records and sends the data to the system's server, where our automatic scoring module evaluates and shows current results.
Final Results will be revealed and awarded at the opening ceremony of the 29.th Land Rover Friends Meeting, at Kistelek in 2023. september.

Digital world and real obstacles..... Rover-tracking opens a new chapter in the world of offroad competiton!
In the Rover-tracking system, the organizer of any other event can already choose between 17 different tasks, that are connected with and processed by our Automatic Scoring Module!
In the ROVER-TRACKING TROPHY, there is no way to have on-site scoring, like in the case of an organized competition, therefore only 6 fully automated task types are available for now.
Competitors log their own tasks with the application. The system does the automatic scorin all day and night, updating the results on the website after each flag in a few seconds.
The potential task types are Here!
JDG - Judge Declared Goal
Competitors attempt to mark a flag next to the goal designated by the competition judge. For this task, if the Pilot marks the flag within the distance specified in the Rules (e.g. 5-10 m), then the task is completed, and the Pilot gets the Flag Point for the task.
HWZ - Hesitation Walz
Competitor’s goal is to mark a flag at the designated targets. It is not mandatory to mark a flag for every target, but successfully doing so earns the Pilot the Flag Point.
There might be a score difference between the individual Targets, meaning that some flags worth more Flag Points. In this task, all the flags are counted as the sum of the points earned by marking them. If the Pilot marks a flag within the distance specified in the Rules (e.g. 5-10 m), then he/she has completed that Target and receives the corresponding Flag Point. The Task Result is given by the total amount of Flag Points gathered during the task.
AUG - An Unattainable Goal
Similar to the JDG (Judge Declared Goal) task, a Target is designated with a MMA (Marker Measuring Area) nearby.
In this case, the target is outside the MMA: It can be in an actually inaccessible place (in the middle of a lake, in a swamp, or even at a virtual point above the ground), or it can be "fenced" with a designated virtual protective distance (PZ - Prohibited Zone). The border of the MMA can be a real physical border (e.g. a lake, the bank of a river marsh, a clearing in the middle of a forest, etc.) or a virtual one.
The goal of the Competitors are to mark their flags inside the MMA as close to the Target as possible.
MDDF - Minimum Distance Double Flag
Competitor’s goal is to make two flag marks in two different measuring areas. The task is only valid if both flags are inside the different measurement areas! A smaller distance between the flags earns more points.
CRAT - Calculated Rate Approach Task
Similar to the JDG (Judge Declared Goal) task, competitors mark a flag on the Target in the specified Marker Measurement Area, but they only have a limited time period to do so. A competitor will not receive points if he/she marks the flag too early or too late.
LRNT - Land Run for Time
The goal of this task is to cover an area, by marking it with Four Flags. The available time can start individually by the Pilot for this task with placing the first flag. The first and last flag must be placed in a designated area! This way the task is more skill and less speed based.
Larger area worths more points.
Conditions can be set for individual flags.
